RATED: Moderate to Challenging

TERRAIN: Flat to very gently rolling on Confederation Trail section; gently rolling with some moderately steep hills on the balance.

CONDITIONS: Mostly dirt or crushed packed gravel, Very safe biking since mostly off highway except for short portions.

ATTRACTIONS: Confederation Trail is especially scenic in Hunter River area; beautiful heritage roads pass by Brookvale Provincial Park where very hardy sorts can take a spin around the singletrack; MacLure's Maple Syrup and Stanley Pottery both on Dixon Road; Breadalbane Village, dam and river.

SERVICES: Hunter River: food, washrooms, Dr. Ellis Park, bank, service station, and restaurants, Water at Brookvale Nordic Ski Lodge.

Note: No road bikes since route is 75% on Confederation Trail and the balance on clay/dirt roads with small amount of pavement Quite a long route considering it is slower riding than on pavement Mountain Bike or Hybrid only.
