Celebrate Sand Sculpture
SandLand is a brand-new project in Charlottetown that promises visitors a unique Island experience. During July, August and September over 2 million pounds of sand will be transformed into 25 original sculptures during this summer-long SandLand Festival, to be located beside the interactive Founders' Hall Museum and Tourism Charlottetown Visitor Information Centre. The sand spectacle will open on June 30th, 2007, kicking off to the AtlanticSuperstore Festival of Lights.

Prince Edward Island International Shellfish Festival
September 14-16, 2007
Each September, the Prince Edward Island International Shellfish Festival serves up wonderful shellfish and the rollicking fun of an "Island Kitchen Party", starring PEI’s own fiddling sensation "Richard Wood". Visiting media are often invited to pitch their skills against the pros in oyster shucking competitions or help judge the chowder challenges…. a tasty chore indeed! Arranged visits to aquaculture operations will round out your shellfish smarts, as you experience the harvesting of oysters and Island Blue mussels!
Join us from September 14 – 16 for Atlantic Canada’s Largest Kitchen Party.
