Volunteer for Festival of Lights

The Volunteer Information Session will be held on Thursday, June 26th, at 6:30pm at Founders' Hall (located at 6 Prince St). Please do your best to be in attendance, as further information will be given on the festival and your volunteer roles. Should you not be able to make it, be sure to arrive for your shift 15 minutes early, checking in with the Volunteer Check-In tent, located at the foot of Great George St.

The official kick-off to summer is here and We Need YOU! The 2008 Atlantic Superstore Festival of Lights, largest Canada day celebrations east of Ottawa returns to the Charlottetown Waterfront! Get ready for incredible music, entertaining performers and family fun at the Atlantic Superstore Festival of Lights, June 28th – July 1st, 2008.

With a festival of such magnitude, we rely on dedicated and enthusiastic individuals such as yourself, to help us make this unbelievable weekend a success.

Below, you will find two options: “Volunteer Application form”, and “Sign-in” to our Volunteer Information Center.

1) To sign up for any one of our festivals, please complete the volunteer application form. This is a one-time registration, after which we will have you in our database and will be able to properly communicate with you into the future.

2) If you have already filled out your volunteer application form, proceed to “Sign-In” at our Volunteer Information Center. Here you have access to many new and exciting capabilities, right at your finger tips! Create your own schedule, view and print your own schedule, update your contact information and so much more!

*Similar to last year, volunteers requesting a complimentary concert ticket will be asked to submit a refundable $45.00 deposit.  This deposit is 100% refundable  It is unfortunate, that we must move in this direction; however, in past years more than 30 volunteers that received complimentary tickets and did not show up for their shift, leaving us short in some important areas.  when you complete your shift, sign-out, and return your lanyard at the end of your shift.

We look forward to seeing the many friends we have made over the many years of operating this festival,  and we hope that this condition will not inhibit you from putting your name forward again for this year.
