Stay “cool” outside at the Aliant Snow Kingdom, the home of Jack Frost, made from 70 tonnes of compacted snow. This year’s theme, “Enchanted Kingdom” will bring snow to life in a whimsical world of fairies, dragons, wizards and magical creatures of all kinds. For 2009 the Aliant Snow Kingdom will be transformed into an interactive snow playground featuring a jungle gym, four lane penguin slide, obstacle course, and igloo village, snow box, and LOTS MORE SLIDES! NEW for 2009 - Imagine a jungle gym carved out of snow; with tunnels, a climbing wall, slides, obstacles and surprises around ever corner! The Technomedia Jungle Gym will be the most fun you’ve ever had in the snow.
You be the Judge! Watch as snow takes shape at the 4th Annual Atlantic Canada Snow Sculpting Championship. Snow artisans will use their talents and imagination to create winter masterpieces. The teams in top placement earn bragging rights and cash prizes up to $2000.
NEW for 2009 - Join two-time Olympian and PEI native, Kara Grant, at Confederation Landing Park for high energy fitness fun, the whole family will enjoy. Come stretch, dance, and warm-up from head to toe with Olympian Kara Grant and SportyKids Fitness.
Returning to Charlottetown - The Flying Canucks presented by McDonald’s! Watch past, present and future Olympians from the sports of freestyle skiing, moguls, snowboard and trampoline. This unique, one-of-a-kind performance combines action and athleticism off a 40-foot mobile ski ramp, and on trampolines.
After a busy day keeping “cool” in the snow and warming up indoors; be amazed as we light up Confederation Landing Park with an incredible display of fireworks and pyrotechnics choreographed to an enchanting soundtrack. With unique special effects and a magical musical background, the sky will come alive. Don’t miss it! Nightly Fireworks presented by the Charlottetown Driving Park Entertainment Centre. Warm-up in one of the INDOOR venues, there is something for everyone. The CIBC Indoor PlayLand at the Charlottetown Civic Centre will feature Carnival Rides, Atlantic Superstore Petting Zoo, and Owl’s Hollow Activity Centre. There is plenty of family fun at The Shops of Confederation Court Mall, featuring “In the Night Garden”, and Discovery Centre; plus, Princess Pretty Boutique and NEW Superhero Training Camp.

You’ve read the books and you’ve seen them on Treehouse - The Backyardigans are high-spirited preschool friends who use their vivid imagination to embark on amazing and heroic adventures. Also coming to Charlottetown is Iron Man, in “Marvel Heroes: Operation Green”. Iron-Man, Captain America, Spider-Man, and the Green Goblin will come together to teach audiences ways to conserve energy, recycle, and live a green lifestyle.

Advance Weekend Tickets (valid Feb. 13-15) are $16 ($20 at the door) and Advance Sunday Tickets (valid Feb. 15 ONLY) are $11 ($14 at the door) plus taxes and a $1 service fee.
