(Charlottetown, PE – June 19, 2008) – The Atlantic Superstore Festival of Lights is less than two weeks away and with ticket sales up again from previous years it will be the biggest Canada Day Celebration to date.

”Everyone is excited about this year’s line-up of entertainment”, states Kim Green, CEO Tourism Charlottetown and the PEI Convention Partnership. “Ticket sales are outpacing even last year when the Festival experienced record-breaking crowds.  There is no doubt that this year will surpass last year based on ticket sales to date.” The most popular ticket is the Weekend Passport, with the individual night ticket for Collective Soul and The Tragically Hip on Monday, June 30th a close second and Green expects based on pace that Monday night individual tickets will be sold out by the end of this coming weekend.
