| SandLand Extended Until October 15 |

(Charlottetown, PE - August 28, 2007) Due to the overwhelming response, Tourism Charlottetown has decided to keep SandLand open until October 15, 2007, maximizing on the shoulder season traffic expected from the Prince Edward Island Marathon, motor coach visitors, and incoming cruise ships. Over 26,000 visitors have enjoyed the artistry of SandLand presented by Northumberland Ferries, well surpassed the forecasted number of 15,000 for the season. The attraction features 20 Sand Sculptures all made of 100% Island sand. Each sculpture represents a different Prince Edward Island story, from confederation to harness racing, from shipbuilding to fisheries; even farming and golf are featured.
