(Charlottetown, PE – June 22, 2007) – The Atlantic Superstore Festival of Lights is less then a week away and with ticket sales up to that of last year it is bound to be the biggest Canada Day Celebration to date.
“On our website Nickelback is consistently the most requested band,
and you may recall that Nickelback sold-out when they headlined the
Atlantic Superstore Festival of Lights in 2003,” states Kim Green, CEO
Tourism Charlottetown and the PEI Convention Partnership. “Once again
we are anticipating a sell out year, so we encourage people to get
their tickets early to not be disappointed.” Tickets and

and individual tickets can also be purchased at the Charlottetown
Visitor Centre inside Founders’ Hall. Weekend passports are also still
available for purchase at select Atlantic Superstores across the

Only
10,000 tickets will be sold, so now is the time to get your weekend
passport. Two days of concerts – Six bands! Weekend Passports offer
the best value at only $49.00; individual tickets are also available.
Friday night tickets headlining Buckcherry and Finger Eleven with
special guest Default are $30.00 and Saturday night Nickelback with
special guests Staind and Hedley tickets are only $40.00. Applicable
taxes and a $2 service and handling fee will apply to all tickets.
The
Atlantic Superstore Festival of Lights is in its 12th year and has
become Canada's Largest Birthday Celebration featuring live outdoor
concerts on the waterfront, the opening of Charlottetown’s newest
attraction SandLand, Aliant International Buskers, Children's Midway,
