Live outdoor entertainment can be heard at three different downtown stages, located next to Founders’ Hall (6 Prince Street), Victoria Row, and outside The Shops of Confederation Court Mall on Queen Street.

Record Breaking Numbers for Canadian Antiques Roadshow in Charlottetown

(Charlottetown, PE – June 7, 2007) – The Canadian Antiques Roadshow filmed four episodes yesterday on the Historic Charlottetown Waterfront at Confederation Landing Park.  For the second time in history the show was filmed outdoors in a tent. Over 4,000 tickets were given away for the taping of the show, the most tickets the Canadian Antiques Roadshow has ever given for a taping to date.

SandLand Opens to the Public June 30, 2007

This summer in Charlottetown, catch the magic of sand sculpture!

 

(Charlottetown, PE - June 4, 2007) – With over two million pounds of sand unloaded onto the Historic Charlottetown Waterfront and three weeks into construction, SandLand is progressing right on schedule. Sand sculptors have been brought in from around the world to put their talents together to create SandLand. All sculptures will explore the theme of life and times in PEI, such the Confederation Ferry sailing the Northumberland Strait, Dairy Farming, St. Dunstan’s Basilica Cathedral, An Acadian Kitchen Party, Oyster harvesting, Province House, and many more.
