(Charlottetown, PE - August 1, 2007) - SandLand presented by Northumberland Ferries has been open to the public for a month now.  Since June 30, close to 13,000 guests have enjoyed the artistry of SandLand and its 20 Sand Sculptures all iconic to Prince Edward Island, each tell a different story about PEI, from confederation to harness racing, from shipbuilding to fisheries; even farming and golf are featured.

Daily there are celebrations on the street all summer long until September 4, 2007.  Live outdoor entertainment can be heard at three different downtown stages, located next to Founders’ Hall (6 Prince Street), Victoria Row, and outside The Shops of Confederation Court Mall on Queen Street.

Tourism Charlottetown and hosts of Canada AM morning show invite the public to be part of the action at 6 Prince Street, next to Founders’ Hall and Lobster on the Wharf.
