A City for All Seasons

Be sure to pack a camera! Each season, Charlottetown comes alive with colour. Summer is in full bloom, alive with music, outdoor patios, festivals and events. Colours of the foliage and harvest bring visitors in the fall. The city in winter is magical, covered in holiday lights and glistening snow; and in springtime, everything is fresh and new.

What’s the Weather Like?

You will need shorts or clam diggers for the summer. Daytime temperatures usually range around a high 20°C (70°F) to mid 30°C (90°F), with minimal humidity. Autumn is clear and bright with temperatures from 8°C to 22°C (46°F to 72°F). You will want to pack a hat and mitts if you come to enjoy the sunshine glistening on the snow. Wintertime temperatures can range from -3°C to -11°C (25°F to 11°F). Spring temperatures are comfortable, much like autumn, so packing layers is ideal.
